In a world that moves too fast, we believe in the power of the pause.
Welcome to Chaaye Khana. Pull up a chair. The Chaaye is ready.
F-6, Islamabad. 2013.
In Islamabad, in 2013, a tea house opened in F-6, one of the city’s most beloved neighbourhoods. There was nothing complicated about it. Good tea, made properly. A warm room. Food that tasted like someone’s mother had made it. A place where you could sit for an hour and nobody would rush you out.
People came. Then they kept coming.
That tea house was Chaaye Khana, and over the past decade it has become the pioneer of the modern
Pakistani tea house. More than 30 locations across the country. A name that means something. A
standard that has never slipped.
How We've Grown.
From one room in Islamabad to a name that travels.
Chaaye Khana means Tea house. That's the whole point.
We take tea seriously in a way that most places simply don’t. Not the teabag-in-a-mug kind of serious. The kind that means your doodh patti is brewed to order, your Kashmiri Chaaye arrives a deep blush pink and tastes of cardamom and cream, your matka Chaaye comes in a clay cup still holding the heat.
Pakistan has a tea culture that the rest of the world is only beginning to notice. We have been living it for over a decade.
The nashta that tastes exactly like it should.
Chaaye Khana was never just about the tea. It was about sitting down to a halwa puri on a Sunday morning and feeling, just for a moment, like you were back. The khagina that tastes exactly like it should. The Chaaye that’s been on the stove since long before you woke up. The paratha that comes off the tawa warm, not from a bag.
Everything we serve is made to order. Nothing is frozen. Nothing is rushed. That is not a marketing line, it
is the standard we have held since F-6.
Wherever you are in the world,
this is for you.
Chaaye Khana was born in Pakistan. But the warmth it carries, the freshness, the consistency, the feeling of belonging that comes with every cup, those things travel.
Whether you grew up drinking doodh patti at home or you’re tasting it for the first time, Chaaye
Khana is a place where everyone is welcome and nothing is compromised.
We are bringing that experience to the world. Every location, every cup, the same standard. The same
care. Made to order, every time.
More Than a Cafe.
This is more than a cafe. The Chaaye is brewed properly. The food is cooked the way it should be.
The room invites you to sit, and nobody is in a hurry to clear the table.
An Unchanged
Promise.
Our story began as a humble endeavour to bring the traditional tastes of our roots to the table. We’ve grown since then, but our mission remains unchanged. We believe in preserving the authenticity of our dishes and in creating a dining experience that transports you back to simpler times, where each sip of tea and bite of food was savoured.
Every Cup, A Ritual.
Our menu is inspired by diverse culinary traditions, curated with utmost care, and prepared with the freshest ingredients. Whether it’s the aromatic brew of our teas or the hearty satisfaction of our dishes, at Chaaye Khana, we ensure that every item served brings comfort and joy to your senses.
